Workforce Development & Career Pathways

Through funded projects and partnerships, Story Stitchers offers young people internships and fellowships or longer term, paid time , to explore working in the collaborative studio and The Center as a worksite. Young people engage as artists, poets, dancers, and entrepreneurs with interests in writing, producing, performing, visual art, or marketing, budgets and funding, and are given time to learn and grow through the intergenerational, vibrant studio that is Saint Louis Story Stitchers.

Partners include STL Youth Jobs, SLATE, and Youth Advocacy Program. Additional opportunities include special projects at Story Stitchers such as the 2-year internships currently underway for Perception Isn’t Always Reality – Mental Health.
