Peace in the Prairie

Saint Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective presents Peace in the Prairie, an original presentation exploring the concepts of peace and violence, juxtaposing urban life as experienced by African American people living in the city of St. Louis, Missouri and the state’s endangered prairie lands.

Story Stitchers Dance Battles are hip hop style and open to St. Louis area youth who are 16-24 years old.

Come 30 minutes prior to start to register. Bring a photo ID with birthdate. Under 18 bring a legal guardian or parent. Singles only. Spaces are limited. Maximum of one win per youth per year.

First Place: $300 Second Place: $150

Top St. Louis Dance Judges!!

 Registration begins 1 hour prior to event. Spaces are limited. Participants must bring proof of age and residency in the St. Louis region.

Under 18 must have a legal guardian or parent present to participate.
