Saint Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective
Covid 19 Policies
St. Louis is currently in the midst of a Covid 19 surge. Story Stitchers work is taking place in Zoom and outdoors only at this time.
Saint Louis Story Stitchers is a resident organization of Kranzberg Arts Foundation. Story Stitchers Board of Directors is announcing new policies in line with that of Kranzberg Arts Foundation, September 1st, 2021, prior to re-opening indoor facilities.
Like the rest of St. Louis, Story Stitchers is being hit hard by the Delta Variant and we need your help to stay open and keep the programs you love running. Since the variant hit we have had to close our indoor studio and stage spaces and move to Zoom and outdoor spaces only. You can help us keep serving our City!! Be safe, keep wearing masks, practicing good hand hygiene and social distancing, stay home if you are ill, and get vaccinated.
#StandTogether #StandStrong #StoptheSpread
As we move towards colder weather, Story Stitchers is planning to reopen indoor facilities. The Board of Directors has approved new policies to make this as safe as possible.
These policies do not apply to our work in virtual or outdoor spaces.

Saint Louis Story Stitchers Covid Policies Approved 9:1:2021 by Board of Directors
In effect September 1, 2021, until further notice.
The health, safety, and well-being—and that of our artists, staff, volunteers, audience, and community—is our top priority at Saint Louis Story Stitchers.
Saint Louis Story Stitchers will continue to follow the guidance and mandates set forth by public health and our local government. Please see St. Louis City Guidelines effective 7/26/21: As COVID-19 hospitalizations rise and the Delta variant spreads, the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County will require masks to be worn in indoor public places and on public transportation beginning Monday. Exceptions will include people who are seated in a restaurant or bar eating and drinking and individuals with disabilities that prevent them from putting on or removing face coverings.
Alongside City and County health departments, Saint Louis Story Stitchers stresses the importance of getting a COVID-19 vaccine. It is the safest and best way for both protecting against SARS-CoV-2 and limiting the spread of the virus. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, vaccines have been shown to reduce hospitalizations due to COVID-19 by 87% percent. A list of where to find a vaccine near you can be found on the City COVID-19 Vaccine Information website.
Saint Louis Story Stitchers, citing rising Covid-19 cases in the region, announced September 1, 2021, that it plans to require proof of vaccination or proof of a negative Covid-19 test within the past 72 hours for access to its indoor studio and stage spaces for people over age 12 who wish to enter.
Effective September 1st, 2021, all people who are 12 years or older who wish to enter Story Stitchers venues will need to bring a photo ID and either their physical vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card. Unvaccinated people, including unvaccinated children over the age of 12, must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test: either a PCR test taken within 72 hours of the activity start time or an antigen test taken within 24 hours of the activity start time.
Story Stitchers policy also includes mandatory mask wearing indoors, social distancing, and frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitizer.
All Staff, Contractors, Vendors, & Volunteers are required to wear protective face coverings at all times while working with the general public, directly with youth participants, artists and producing entities.
Venues will undergo regular cleanings with increased disinfecting procedures and Story Stitchers will provide masks and make hand sanitizer available.
The policy does not apply to people accessing programs in virtual, outdoor or open air spaces. Wearing masks outdoors, especially in group settings, will be strongly encouraged.
