_______________
Like the rest of STL, Story Stitchers is being hit hard by this Covid Variant and we need your help to stay open and keep the programs you love running. Since the variant hit we have had to close our indoor studio and stage spaces and move to Zoom and outdoor spaces only. You can help us keep serving our City!! Be safe, keep wearing masks, practicing good hand hygiene and social distancing, stay home if you are ill, and get vaccinated.

Get accurate information and educate yourself. Talk to your doctor or reach out to the Department of Health and ask questions. Make an informed decision. We are all impacted when someone dies of Covid 19 or related causes.
PROS TO GETTING VACCINATED – Conduct an action that shows that you are compassionate of your community. Implement actions that will protect yourself and others.
African Americans are accounting for 80% of Covid 19 cases right now. You getting infected can lead to other family members getting infected. Infants and children cannot protect themselves and rely on us to protect them.
The virus is still circulating in our community. Even if you are vaccinated, you can still spread it to others so we all need to continue wearing a mask, social distancing, hand washing and hand sanitizer. We are still in the middle of a pandemic. Help to keep the hospital beds open for all people who need them. Unvaccinated people are more likely to need hospitalization due to Covid complications.
The key ways to be safe and protect yourself and your family from Covid 19:
- continue wearing a mask
- social distancing
- practice good hand hygiene such as hand washing and using hand sanitizer
- get vaccinated
- stay home if you are ill
