Story Stitchers Partners with Missouri Alliance for Arts Education to Address Racism

Saint Louis Story Stitchers is proud to collaborate with

Missouri Alliance for Arts Education as a

Partner for R.I.D.E.

MAAE’s committee to address issues of Racism • Inclusion • Diversity • Equity

Missouri Alliance for Arts Education’s committee to address racism, inclusion, diversity and equity is called R.I.D.E. It describes its purpose, “Everyone suffers in an environment of systemic racism and bias. The work of eliminating barriers and achieving equity for all Missouri students is best accomplished working in concert with our partners.”

Saint Louis Story Stitchers is pleased to announce a partnership with Missouri Alliance for Arts Education that will make Story Stitchers programs more accessible to Missouri educators, including parents and students.

Saint Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective has created a series of media productions including podcasts, poetry, music, theatre, books, and dance – generated by artists working collaboratively with 16-24-year-old African American and BIPOC youth whose lives have been touched by violence. The organization uses the arts, experience in nature, and community service in creative youth development.

Take a R.I.D.E. with us and discover how the arts can build a more peaceful and equitable world for all.
