Saint Louis Story Stitchers is pleased to announce the Pick the City UP 2019 Tour has received strong support from the Regional Arts Commission.
Pick the City UP 2019 Tour is presented with additional support from Missouri Foundation for Health, LUSH Corporation’s The Charity Pot, Kranzberg Arts Foundation, Steward Family Foundation, Cardinals Care, and Incarnate Word Foundation.
The Tour will kick-off at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 6th during Fair St. Louis in the beautiful new Mezzanine at Gateway Arch National Park with a live Story Stitchers performance! Come in & be cool with your favorite Story Stitchers!
Pick the City UP 2019 Tour, now in its 3rd year, presents Saint Louis Story Stitchers unique brand of urban storytelling, featuring live original STL hip hop, spoken word and story magic on public health issues St. Louis cares about including gun violence. Pay tribute, join the fun, and make a difference. Bringing positive change to the Lou.
Stops include Tillie’s Corner in JeffVanderLou on July 13th, Young Art Activists Training on July 9th at Kranzberg Arts Center, Youth Open Mic’s with the South Side Youth Council at Thomas Dunn Learning Center and The Fellowship on Jefferson in Dutchtown on July 16th and July 25th, the West Side Street Feast at Wellston Loop Community Development Corporation’s empty lot (THE BEST lot in the Lou!) at MLK and Hodiamont on August 3rd, a Back to School Block Party at Gregory J Carter Park in Walnut Park with the Greater Pentecostal Church of God on August 10th, and back to the our favorite lot on Hodiamont October 26th for Halloween and Super Heroes of the West End!
