Stitchers Youth Perform at Parkway South HS

On Friday, March 9, 2018 Story Stitchers Youth Council members and mentors met at the Storefront Studio to take a chartered coach to Parkway South High School. Youth members performed in the school’s auditorium for 150 students and teachers as part of the school’s Patriot Pulse Day.

Stitchers brought messages on public health topics including gun and gang violence prevention and drug use awareness through the Story Stitchers unique style of “urban storytelling” which incorporates hip hop, spoken word, photography, videography, and dance.

Special thanks to teaches Amber Rice and the students of Parkway South for the invitation!!
