Tim Lane is “The King of Cool”

Comic book artist and illustrator Tim Lane rode up to the Stitchers Storefront Studio on his Harley Davidson in a specially designed Steve McQueen aka The King of Cool jacket, opened the door, and changed everything.

Tim mesmerized Teen Council and artists alike with his amazing books and life story. Then he shared with the group the methods used to sketch out a visual storyline that can become the start of a comic book. With a simple black pen, plain paper and loads of experience and patience, Tim drew for the excited teens a story that they created about walking home from work through the city on a dark, cold night, being approached by a car from behind and then…what will the young teens do??  What should they do?

Stay tuned… Tim has agreed to visit the Stitchers Teens again!
