Story Stitchers submitted The Weight of Words Cause which uses the power of young voices, art and the internet to see teens put down guns for books. Stitchers Teen Council members reflect on being in the top 200 causes in the State Farm Neighborhood Assist grant competition. Partners in the Cause are Digital Storytelling at the University of Missouri and the University of Missouri Extension Office’s St. Louis Storytelling Festival.
